° I graduated from TIFR Bangalore Centre, upon receiving a Ph.D. in Mathematics, under the supervision of Professor M. Vanninathan, with a thesis on “Homogenization Issues in PDEs Arising in Applications”. I attended Presidency College in Calcutta for my undergraduate studies.

° I held postdoctoral positions at IAS, HKUST, Hong Kong, and at UW, Seattle, in the inverse problem group of Professor G. Uhlmann; and at the Uni Bielefeld, in the analysis group of Professor M. Kassmann.
